Another popular attraction among the visitors is the Itum Bahal. It is the largest Bahal (Budhhist Monastery Courtyard), with its long, rectangular courtyard. Travelers visiting the Bahal find peace here, away from the chaos of city.

Garden of Dreams, also known as Swapna Bagicha, is one of the most serene and beautiful gardens in Kathmandu. There are dozens of amazing details in the small garden, including the original gate, a marble inscription from Omar Khayam’s Rubaiyat, the new fountains and ponds, and a quirky ‘hidden garden’ to the south.

Another popular attraction of Kathmandu, Indra Chowk is named after the ancient Vedic deity Indra is among the must visit spots in Kathmandu. Indra Chowk is traditionally a centre for the sale of blankets and cloth, and merchants cover the platforms of the Mahadev Temple to the north.

Best time to visit Kathmandu
Kathmandu can be visited in the month of February for it augments spring season when the air is refreshing and you can find flowers and fruits in plenty. Best time to visit Nepal, Kathmandu is during the tourist season that starts from September and continues till November.
