Aizawl
The largest city in Mizoram, Aizawl is also the capital city of the state. It stands at a height of 1132 m above sea level and has abundance of cultural richness. One of the most popular attractions here is Tamdil Lake, the largest lake in Mizoram. Here visitors can enjoy bird watching and boating activities. KV Paradise, also known with the name of the modern Taj Mahal of Mizoram, is a stunning three storey mausoleum which captures the heart of every history lover. Wildlife enthusiasts of Mizoram can explore Khawnglung Wildlife Sanctuary which acts home to animals like Tiger, Sambar, Barking Deer, Serrow, Hoolock Gibbon, etc.

Champhai
Champhai is beautifully placed at a height of 1678 m. From here you can catch imposing views of Myanmar’s hill ranges. Here many ancient relics and monuments are dotted around. Lunglei
Lunglei is the second biggest city in Mizoram. It is popular due to a rock which looks like a bridge. Visit here to catch bird’s eye views of the whole state. The city is blessed with imposing hills, fertile greenery and thriving cultures.

Serchhip
Serchhip enjoys a striking location cuddled by Mat and Tuikam Rivers. Here you will find Mizoram’s highest waterfalls apart from the 8th highest mountain. Many endangered species reside here thanks to its diverse topography. The place is also known for a thriving handloom industry where locals can be seen indulging in making handicrafts.

Lawngtlai
Lawngtlai district is blanketed with dense unexplored forests. Here you can fall in love with vivid flora and fauna at places like Vengpui Peak, Lohawka Wildlife Sanctuary, Sinemon Wildlife Sanctuary and Ngengpui Wildlife Sanctuary.

How to Reach
Aizawl city has a domestic airport which connects the state with all parts of India. Closest railhead is Bairabi in Kolasib District.
