Agartala
Resting on the banks of Howrah River, Agartala is the biggest city of Tripura. Agartala has numerous historical and mythological places under its horizon. Start your trip by visiting the Ujjayanta Palace amidst verdant green and well manicured Mughal gardens. The palace is a masterpiece from history with a library, Darbar, a Throne room, and a reception hall. Nature devotees must visit Unakoti Hill blessed with ample of nature. For wildlife lovers, Sipahijola Wildlife Sanctuary is a good choice where they can spot numerous birds, animals, and vegetation. Apart from this, enjoy views of orange plantation blooming all around at Jampui Hills.

Dharmanagar
Dharmanagar is the second largest city in Tripura known for its interesting past. It has many places of tourist interest most of which remain absorbed in nature. Dighi Lake in Dharmanagar is perfect to enjoy leisurely walks around its pristine banks. Kalibari Temple of Dharmanagar is also fairly popular. Dedicated to Maa Kali, this temple is visited by many Hindu devotees. Here grand Durga Puja celebrations are organised every year.

Udaipur
Udaipur is located at a convenient distance of 55kms from Agartala. The city edges the banks of River Gomati and is also renowned with the name of Lake City. Here you can find many old temples and prominent historical places. Some of the most popular tourist attractions in Udaipur include Tripura Gunabati Group of Temples, Sundari Temple, Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary, Bhubaneshwari Temple and Tepania Eco-Park.

How to Reach
The Agartala airport in Tripura is well connected to some major cities like Kolkata and Guwahati. Nearest railway station to the city is around 140kms away in Kumargh. Agartala has a good road network too and thus, one can take the facility of many state run and private buses available here.
